What BIP is
BIP is an app for people who do strength training, at the gym or at home. BIP builds your training programme around your goal, your level, your equipment and how many days you can train, with the help of an external AI service. You run the session in the app and log every set with weight and reps, and next time you see straight away what you lifted last time.
What you log becomes your history: records, estimated max, how much you lifted in a week and how you progress over time. You collect XP, level up and earn badges for what you have actually done, and you can challenge friends on the same workout.
Also available without an account
The site has an exercise library with instructions for every exercise, ready-made training programmes, guides on sets, reps and progressive overload, and calculators for your one rep max and calorie needs. All of it is free and needs no account.
Free and Premium
Logging your workouts is free, and so are your history, records and levels. With Premium, BIP builds a new week every week from the weights you lifted and the reps you managed, and you see all your progress since the start. What is included and what it costs is on the pricing page.
Who is behind it
BIP is run by AlgoMate AB, a Swedish limited company. BIP used to be called BodyInProgress and lived at bodyinprogress.se, where diet and training plans were sold as finished documents. Today BIP is an app where you train, log and follow your progress week by week, and the old addresses lead here.
