Incline bench press: how to do it
1 of 3
Lie back on an incline bench
Starting position
Lie on an incline bench with your feet on the floor and grip the bar slightly wider than shoulder-width.
The movement
Lower the bar with control toward your upper chest, then press it straight up until your arms are straight.
Most common mistake
Don't lower the bar toward your neck, aim for your upper chest and keep your shoulder blades against the bench.
