Band lateral raise: how to do it
1 of 3
Stand on the middle of the band
Starting position
Stand on the middle of the band with your feet hip-width apart and hold the ends by your sides with slightly bent elbows.
The movement
Raise your arms out to the sides to shoulder height, then lower them slowly toward your hips.
Most common mistake
Don't shrug your shoulders toward your ears, keep them down and raise your arms without swinging.
