Tate press: how to do it
1 of 3
Dumbbells over your chest, arms straight
Starting position
Lie on the bench with a dumbbell in each hand above your chest, arms straight and palms facing your feet.
The movement
Bend your elbows outward and lower the ends of the dumbbells toward your chest, then straighten your arms again.
Most common mistake
Don't lower the dumbbells toward your shoulders, bring them toward mid-chest with your elbows pointing outward.
