Back extension: how to do it
1 of 3
Hips on the pad, feet locked
Starting position
Place your hips against the pad, secure your feet and let your torso hang forward with a straight back.
The movement
Raise your torso until your body forms a straight line, then lower it with control.
Most common mistake
Don't arch your back at the top, stop when your body is straight and keep your neck in line.
