Backpack row: how to do it
1 of 3
Hinge forward with a straight back
Starting position
Stand hip-width apart, hold one shoulder strap in each hand and hinge forward with soft knees and a straight back.
The movement
Pull the backpack toward your stomach with your elbows close, then lower it until your arms are straight.
Most common mistake
Don't round your back to reach lower, keep it straight and let your arms extend below your shoulders.
