Lateral lunge: how to do it

1 of 4

Feet together, hands in front of you

  1. Starting position

Stand with your feet together, chest up, and hands in front of your body.

  2. The movement

Take a wide step to the side, push your hips back over the bent leg, then drive back to the start.

Most common mistake

Don't let your knee cave in, keep it in line with your foot while the other leg stays straight.
