Skater hops: how to do it
1 of 4
Stand on one leg, lean slightly forward
Starting position
Stand on one leg with your knee slightly bent, lean forward a little and keep your arms ready to help you balance.
The movement
Hop sideways onto the other leg, land softly and sweep your free leg behind you, then hop back the other way.
Most common mistake
Don't land with a straight knee or let it cave in, bend it softly and keep it in line with your foot.
