Concentration curl: how to do it

1 of 3

Upper arm against your inner thigh

  1. Starting position

Sit with your legs apart, hold one dumbbell and brace the back of your upper arm against your inner thigh.

  2. The movement

Bend your elbow and curl the dumbbell toward your shoulder, then lower it with control until your arm is almost straight.

Most common mistake

Don't lift your upper arm off your thigh, keep it still against your leg while your forearm moves.
